
Dr. Daniel Haber is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist providing comprehensive care for sports injuries and orthopedic conditions affecting the knees, shoulders, ankles, back, and other areas of the musculoskeletal system.
After completing his orthopedic residency training at Stanford, Dr. Haber pursued an additional year of fellowship training in sports medicine. This advanced training prepared him to diagnose and treat a wide range of injuries using both traditional orthopedic care and advanced surgical and nonsurgical techniques.
For 27 years, Dr. Haber has proudly serves as team orthopedic surgeon for San José State University, caring for Division I collegiate athletes across the university’s athletic programs. He also teaches fellows in SJSU’s sports medicine program, helping educate the next generation of sports medicine professionals.
Working with high-level athletes has shaped Dr. Haber’s approach to every patient. His goal extends beyond relieving pain or simply healing an injury. He focuses on restoring strength, mobility, and function so each patient can safely return to the activities and lifestyle they enjoy.
Dr. Haber’s practice also recognizes the important role body mechanics play in recovery and long-term performance. He offers patients access to movement analysis, rehabilitation, functional assessments, ergonomic guidance, and education designed to support complete recovery and optimal performance.
